The 15th World Bridge Series will be held in Sanya, Hainan, China from 10th to 25th October 2014 hosted by the Chinese Contract Bridge Association in cooperation with Sanya City and Beijing Lianzhong Co., Ltd. The contract was signed by WBF President Gianarrigo Rona and CCBA President Xiang Huaicheng during a Ceremony held in Beijing at China Qi-yuan, the CCBA Headquarters, on Wednesday 24th July.

The Ceremony, followed by a Press Conference, was attended inter alia by the representatives of CCBA (Vice Presidents Liu Siming, Fan Guangsheng and Ms. Chen Zelan), Sanya City (Deputy Mayor Ms. Xu Zhenling and the Director of Culture and Sport Bureau Dong Yongquan), the WBF (Vice President Patrick Choy), Sanya Bridge Association (President Zhu Qingfeng), Beijing Lianzhong Co. (President Yang Qing and General Manager Wu Guoliang), the Venue of the Championship, MGM Grand (General Manager Andrew W. Steele) and several representatives of Chinese Media.

Sanya is a city known as a tropical paradise, in the southernmost China’s Hainan Province.
