Cecile Miles, who retired from all competitive bridge in the mid 90s will be fondly remembered by many of her opponents and team-mates at both national and international level. Cecile played in two Olympiads and captained one with a similar record in Venice Cup competitions. She also played in 5 Far East Championships, participating in winning teams on three occasions. Her successful partnerships with Margaret Choate, Claire Lester and Sue Lusk put her at the forefront of Australian women players for over two decades
