The ABF Board in consultation with the Tournament Committee(TC) has decided to award Mixed PQPs to the Mixed Team representing Australia at the Asia Cup as follows.

In determining these awards the Board and TC note:

1. The Asia Cup is a concurrent event with the Spring Nationals Mixed Teams,
2. That unlike the Open/Men’s categories, there was no playoff for the Mixed where representatives could have earned PQP, and
3. The timing and existence of the event (invitation to the event) is recent and has only just been finalised.

For the avoidance of doubt, noting item b. above and that the Men’s event is not Open no Open PQP’s will be awarded for the Asia Cup. It is noted that PQPs do not apply to Women’s and Seniors’ events.
