The ABF Management Committee and Tournament Committee have discussed the running of the ANC in Perth should one or more States not be able to attend because of border-closures. A dedicated area will be set up at the Perth Convention Centre for those teams in attendance to play those who are absent using an online platform that has video and sound capabilities.

A local official from each of the States that is absent will be appointed and will be responsible for the supervision of all of the state’s teams, all of whom will need to assemble at a single location. Matthew McManus has confirmed that combining online and real life play in the Interstate Teams can be comfortably achieved.

The Butler will be entirely face-to-face as it is not practical to run the Butler partially online.
