The ABF System Regulations have been updated.

Changes include:

1. Systems classified as ‘Green’ may now employ a 1NT opening bid on semi-balanced as well as balanced hands.
2. Unanchored overcalls of a short 1C or 1D opening bid, within an otherwise ‘natural’ system, are no longer exempt from Brown Sticker classification (this change was necessary in order to remain aligned with the current WBF definition of a Brown Sticker Convention).
3. The number of supplementary A4 sheets that a pair may bring to the table which relate to their defensive measures against a Yellow System has been increased from 1 to 2.
4. All references to the term ‘Tournament Committee Representative’ have been replaced by ‘ABF On-site Representative’.
