A contract to host the 60th Gold Coast Congress 2022 will be signed early next week.  The dates are as previously published 18th February to 26th February.  All changes that we were going to incorporate into 2021 will stand. They are

• Bobby Richman Pairs fifth session Final 3 will be held in the morning not in the afternoon.
• All Morning sessions to start at 10.00 am
• Afternoon sessions to start at 2.30 pm except Monday and Friday where it will 2.00 pm
• New division in Teams – Under 1500 Masterpoints.

Other News due to covid

• Entries will be capped but it is a high number.  We are working on what these numbers will be and will publish widely.  Numbers will be capped by event not as total table numbers.
• Dinner Dance will be capped and we can no longer do a grazing menu – it will be two main dishes and the table will be served 5 of each – more information to be obtained for this but we will publish
• Courtesy Bus will no longer be running continuously around Broadbeach however we will take bookings so those who will require the bus must ring the number provided closer to the time and prior to event and it will be organised.  Contact details will need to be provided for all travelling.

• Entry form being drafted as I type this – ready for release possibly May
