Entries for the playoff to select the representative Australian Open Team for 2018 to be held at the Canberra Rex Hotel on November 12-16 are now open and will close October 7.

There is no target event for 2018, since there is no World Championship or Asia Pacific event where we can send an Australian Representative Team but  successful participants in the Playoff will be offered support to attend one or both of the events below. 

• World Bridge Series in Orlando Florida, 22 September – 6 October 2018
• Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championships at the Gold Coast, 14-18 February 2018

The format of the playoff is a two stage pairs event with stage one over three days (November 12-14) and stage two over two days (November 15-16).
Up to 16 pairs ranked by PQP will be accepted into stage one.

Players intending to book at the Canberra Rex Hotel should do so before September 30 to receive the Early Bird discount.
